The heart of the Master Gardener program resides at 618 S. Main Street in Quitman, Texas, commonly referred to as the Extension Building. At the head of the program is the A&M county extension agent,
Clint Perkins, who leads and oversees all of the activities of the Master Gardeners as well as serving as one of the lecturers in the training program. This is also the site of many Master Gardener activities.....

The Wood County Extension Office has provided a site for several classes of trainees to develop their skills in designing and implementing beautification projects in the local community. Each class is able to benefit from the work by previous classes by seeing what worked and what needed altered to fit in the alloted space.
